ELLIS CORP. is a manufacturer of industrial laundry equipment and waste water treatment systems. ELLIS has been in the manufacturing business for one hundred years and has a 60% market share in the large capacity category. These tent washing machines have been modified from equipment that has been designed and used in the laundry industry for the past fifteen years. Tent washers such as the ones seen here have been successfully in use for the past four seasons in the tent rental industry.

There are two sizes of washing machines: one that will handle approximately 2,000 square feet and a larger model that will accommodate up to 5,000 square feet. There is one model of dryer that will work with either machine.

Any tent rental operation that is spending $8,000 or more per year to wash tent tops is a candidate.

Those who currently own these machines have found that not only are tents cleaner, but the efficiencies of washing by machine are incredible. Washer use and cleaner use drops dramatically. The wear and tear on the fabric itself from machine washing is no worse than any other washing method.
